Drug user practices and drug-related interventions in Martinique in 2022

This briefing paper aims to identify trends, and emerging and/or less widespread phenomena in the use of illicit drugs in Martinique in order to contribute to the understanding and knowledge of their developments in the longer term.

What are the use practices, specificities and types of interventions for populations that are particularly heavy users of illicit drugs in Martinique? Through a collection of qualitative data, the aim is to describe the local context in Martinique, the consumption habits of people who regularly use illicit drugs (regular use being defined by declaring at least ten uses in the thirty days preceding the survey) as well as interventions offered by dedicated structures.
