Analysis of drug supply, illegal markets, trafficking and criminal activities
Yasmine Salhi is an economist with a Master's degree in International and Development Economics from the Paris Dauphine university.
She is a research officer on drug supply, illicit markets, trafficking, and criminal activities. In this role, she monitors and analyses indicators relating to illicit drug supply and markets, leads work on estimating the turnover of illicit markets and contributes to the information feedback expected from the OFDT to the European network and to the work of the EMCDDA, particularly with regard to the available supply of commonly used illicit drugs.
As well as monitoring and analysing quantitative data, she monitors the economic and geopolitical dimensions of the globalisation of illicit drug production and supply chains.
