Research Officer
Medical data and epidemiological monitoring
Sophie Véron has a master's degree in Public Health, specialising in epidemiology, and is a research officer in the DATA unit.
She participates in the various phases of carrying out and promoting studies and contributes to the quantitative analyses of the OFDT.
She is responsible for three key indicators of the European Drugs Agency: “Treatment Demand Indicator” (TDI) for the evaluation of treatment demand, “Drug-Related Deaths” (DRD) for the estimation of drug-related deaths, and “Drug-Related Infectious Diseases” (DRID) for the monitoring of drug-related infectious diseases.
