Maitena Milhet

Contexts of use, harm reduction, and vulnerable groups coordinator - Professional practice

Maitena Milhet has a doctorate in sociology and wrote her thesis on the experience of quitting addiction from the point of view of users undergoing substitution treatment. 

She is an associate researcher at the Émile Durkheim Centre – political science and comparative sociology (UMR 5116, CNRS, Sciences Po Bordeaux, Bordeaux university. 

At the OFDT, she is a research officer within the FOCUS unit, monitoring studies on vulnerable groups and harm reduction issues (HR). 

She leads or participates in conjunction with the team and scientific partners on these topics and contributes to the unit’s cross-disciplinary analyses (professional practices, other specific groups, TREND, etc.).
