Joana Sisternas Tusell

Joana Sisternas Tusell has a doctorate in sociology from the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS), and her research focuses on public policy on security and urban informality. 

She is currently the research officer for the “NOVURC project” - New faces of regular cannabis users - within the FOCUS unit. 

In this capacity, she is helping organise and conduct a qualitative survey aimed at documenting, describing, and understanding current cannabis use practices, as well as the consumption trajectories and lifestyles of users who have been using cannabis regularly for several years.
