Caroline Protais

Caroline Protais has a doctorate in sociology and specialises in the study of the relationship between the criminal justice system and mental health. 

As a research officer in the FOCUS unit, she is responsible for monitoring research on people in custody (detainees, people in open custody, judicial youth protection service) and on vulnerable groups. 

She leads or participates in conjunction with the team and scientific partners on these topics and contributes to the unit’s cross-disciplinary analyses (professional practices, other specific groups, TREND, etc.).
